Beautieful camp spot, road was a bit soft because of the sand but okay to drive on. The facilities were clean and all in good conditions. Volunteers coming every day to clean and check if the campsite is alright. Fishibg was also good but bring enough bait with you. Before you go there check the weather for local warnings and storms! Would recommend this place and will be back!
A very quiet spot. River lovely. Would visit again. National park campground great. Take it easy on the sandy road in.
Always love going to this quiet NP camp spot. Cold showers, toilet and a stonetrow from the beach. Keep up the good work!
Nice camping ground very near to beach. Road there is very sandy so it may cause some problems if you don't have 4WD but all it depend on your driving skill and if your car have at least some clearance. Toilet is super nice with flushing water, shower is next to toilet (very nice one) and another one on the way to/from beach. There is tons of parrots, some kangaroos and wild turkeys which is very nice to see around. From camp is possible to do 12.5km hike thrue amazing forest. Next time I'll bring my fishing gear because this beach could have some big fish to catch. This camp is well worthy to visit and stay overnight.
Not far from Hervey Bay, 2 options to get to camp site, beach (easier) 1/2 either side of low tide best or inland track, which is similar conditions to Fraser tracks. No fires allowed, mozies hit bad at night with windless conditions. Showers good, close to other fishing spots, most sites shady, no7 worst for midday sun.
